Hello, my name is Jillian Bongard. I am a senior graduating in December of 2017 with a bachelors degree in Health Care Administration. Working on this group project with my awesome team members has been both easy and hard in multiple different ways. It seemed easy because we all get along very well and don't butt heads so our ability to work as a team has really helped make this project shine. I have background with being a supervisor in healthcare and because of this, I able to incorporate enthusiasm, perseverance, and respect into our group, which have been critical to our successes. I think these things are very important to any group or team because it really builds esprit de corps. Another thing I brought to the table would be the organizing factor. Even though all our schedules are busy and never seem to match up, I have been influential in using texting as a main source of communication between the three of us to make sure that we remain cohesive and on track. I believe that any normal team can come together with all their strengths and develop something extraordinary. To me, this is exactly what us "Sharks" have done!

Hello, my name is Jordan Voit. Similar to Jillian, I am also persuing my bachelors degree in Health Care Administration and will be graduating next December. Despite the hard work put into this project, I have enjoyed working with my team. Each of us has proven to be a realiable team player who brings a unique quality to the table. I believe I used cooperation, a positive attitude and my interpersonal skills to develop our project. This also helped create a sense of mutual respect and understanding within our group. Working in a team where everyone's opinion is valued was a driving force in sharing ideas and reaching our objectives. Another one of my contributions was my resiliency. Our group was given this assingment during a very stressful time in the semester. This added more of a burden unto our already large work load. However, I tried to not become overwhelmed so that we can maintain focus in our group.
Group projects can be very difficult yet rewarding. This team is an example of the value of working together and satisfaction of a job well done! |
Hello, my name is Taylor Collins.
I am striving to double major in accounting and marketing, and will hopefully graduate with my teammates next December! I love group projects because everyone can bring something special to the team, and show their talents. Jillian brought organization by seeing when we could all meet, Jordan brought her resiliency and calmed us through the stresses of the end of the semester, and I think I brought some fun and some urgency. Every time we meet I tried to make it as fun as possible and not all about school. I facilitated conversations in between the work about our lives and how we're handling the end of the semester. I also suggested that we all bring snacks every time we meet to motivate and push us to make this project the best that we can. I’ve also created some urgency to meet as much as we could and to start thinking about our project early. I think someone creating urgency is important so everyone can be well prepared and there are no surprises ahead! I think our strengths complimented each other well. We all respected, listened, and worked well together. I'm very proud to be part of the Sharks! |
